The Verde Valley Fire District along with Jerome Fire Department, Cottonwood Fire Department, Clarkdale Fire District, Montezuma-Rimrock Fire District, evaluated the FIT-5 (Fire Interuption Technology-5) device. The device was placed in the living room of a Mobile Home with a recliner as the only furniture. As directed the device was given time to deploy before water was used. One firefighter suffered hand injuries through his gloves.
