Verde Valley Fire Responds to Twin Fire, Williams, AZ

Twin Fire Response  

Verde Valley Fire District, along with other departments, received orders and requests from the Arizona State Fire, to respond to Williams Arizona for a Wildfire that was threatening homes in the City of Williams.

Verde Valley Fire Engine 311 along with engines from Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Sedona, Mayer, Chino Valley, Highlands, Summit, Central Yavapai Fire, Flagstaff and Prescott responded Friday night to the initial call for a structure protection task force.

Verde Valley Water Tender 311, responded as ordered Saturday morning for water supply operations.

Thanks to the efforts of all involved no homes were damaged in the fire. All of Verde Valley Fire District's apparatus and personnel are now back in the Valley.
